Amateur Station K6KPH
K6KPH is the amateur station of the Maritime Radio Historical Society (MRHS). It was placed in operation to provide amateur radio operators with the opportunity to contact a real commercial coast station. The original KPH receivers, transmitters (power reduced to 1.5kW) and antennas are used. K6KPH operators replicate commercial practices and procedures as closely as possible. Operation is on fixed frequencies in each band, again replication commercial practice.
